Unlike DIY, with BYOI you get built-in protection:
- You pay upfront for materials + $99 coordination fee
- Installer's payment is held by us in escrow (not paid to them yet)
- Work is completed on the scheduled install date
- You have 3 days to inspect and flag any concerns
- No issues? Payment auto-releases to installer after 3 days
- Found a problem? Raise a dispute through our system â we investigate and may hold payment until resolved
This way, you have leverage if something goes wrong â your installer can't disappear with payment.
